City Gate Review

At the northernmost end of the colorful shops and sites of St. George Street, the gate is a relic from the days when the Castillo's moat ran westward to the river, and the Cubo Defense Line (defensive wall) protected against approaches from the north. The old coquina gates set the tone for St. George Street, a historic lane filled with old-world balconies and quaint little shops.
