This romantic bed-and-breakfast may have been constructed in 1902, but it's up-to-date when it needs to be: free Wi-Fi, whirlpool tubs, massage room. Built as a private residence, the three-story, 6,000-square-foot Frame Vernacular–style building was restored and reopened as a B&B popular for romantic weekends and girlfriend getaways. The cozy Boudoir room has a four-poster bed and an inlaid-tile fireplace; the more modern St. John's Room has cobalt-hue walls and
a geometric bedspread. Each room has a private bath—some with whirlpool tubs and others with double-head showers—and second-story rooms offer balconies. Extended stays are possible in the property's largest ground-level suite.
