A wonderfully romantic getaway just up the road from the Rive Gauche of the Pont du Gard, this medieval retreat is made up of several restored houses and has sweeping views of the Ventoux valley, plus guest rooms styled in a variety of tasteful themes, from Egyptian to Provençal. All have spacious and modern bathrooms. The honey-color stone terraces and heavenly views further enhance the rich, inventive cooking of Chef Christophe Ducros, one of the highlights of which
is roasted local lamb with a parsley crust served with eggplant caviar. The wine list is extensive (especially the Rhône Valley selection), and the cheeses are excellent.
