Set in a lovingly renovated Craftsman bungalow, this gallery offers a variety of wares created by both local and national artists and craftspeople. Toward the back is a small café where you can order a wrap or bowl of soup and a craft beer or espresso drink; the large front porch, which faces Central Avenue, is a great place to people-watch while you snack. Occasionally, the gallery hosts concerts by touring musicians.

Crescent City Farmers Market

Mid-City

Twice a week, this farmers' market pops up in Mid-City with between 30 and 40 local farmers, fishermen, bakers, and more. The smaller Thursday market takes place 3--7 pm where the Lafitte Greenway meets the start of Bayou St. John, while Sunday's market is a bigger affair (especially on a beautiful morning), bringing in hundreds of locals from 8 am until noon at the western edge of City Park in the parking lot of Tad Gormley Stadium. Crescent City Farmers Market often invites musicians, local authors, and more to entertain at the market as visitors shop.
