City Creek Center
The centerpiece of a $1 billion downtown redevelopment across from Temple Square, this attractive indoor-outdoor mall with an enclosed footbridge spanning Main Street has brought upscale shopping to the city with stores like Apple, Anthropologie, Louis Vuitton, Lululemon, Nordstrom, Tiffany, and West Elm. And across the street from the east side of the mall, the upscale Harmons Grocery Store is one of the nicest markets in the city. Note that most stores are closed on Sunday.

City Electric is a shoe shop Gallup-style, and is definitely worth a poke around. This purveyor of moccasins, cowboy boots, belts, and cowboy hats also repairs saddles and shoes and sells leather and fittings for your own work. This corner shop with a Pueblo Deco facade was founded by an Italian immigrant in 1924. It has stayed in the Bonaguidi family ever since.

So sashay over to the store that sits catty-corner from Marfa Ballroom, take off your shoes, get measured, pull out your wallet, and think about how great it will be to open a box from Cobra Rock when it finally arrives.
