Wish I could be specific...we'd stayed in College Station the previous night, visiting our daughter at school, then drove on. Just wanted to say, it's a *great* show...I'd give anything to be living close enough to do it now!! Wear comfy shoes as it's huge, with lots of walking. Have a great time. Hope the Bluebonnets are blooming, it'll make the drive down something of an event too.

It might be Houston or Austin--not much in the way of civilization around there. And PLEASE, the actual Round Top Exhibition is hardly a craft show--probably the finest exhibit of American antiques and primitives in the country. The Warrenton show that leads up to the little town of Round Top is HUGE (like 25 miles!)--best of it is Marburger Farm (daughter and son-in-law are showing there). And you better hurry--it's going on now with RT this week-end.

Do a search on Google witht the term Round Top.
Drives from Houston and Austing are about an hour to hour-and-a-half. Nearby towns include Brenham, LaGrange, Carmine and Burton.
Be sure to eat the Brazos Belle and Royers Round Top Cafe.
