Mall near Fort Lauderdale

What is the best mall or shopping center in the greater FLL area?

Sawgrass Mills Mall Outlet Mall. Its huge and great stores and prices!! I love that place. I can't tell you the exact location but you can google it. The hotel we stayed in (Best Western -not sure which one) had a shuttle to the mall.

Sawgrass is truly HUGE. We were there last month and they had added an upscale section/designor type section since our last visit.

We are wanting to shop at Stores like Dillards, Macy's etc. not outlets. What would you recommend for that?

Definitely the Galleria Mall on Sunrise Blvd. They have both of these stores and Neiman Marcus. For a short (?) drive there is Aventura Mall but the Galleria will fit the bill.

I also echo what espinach says, The Galleria and Aventura Mall sound like what you are looking for (Macy's Bloomindales, etc).

The Boca Town Center is nice too but a distance.
If you do not want Bloomingdales or Norstroms you can go to the Pembroke Lakes mall where you will find Macy's and Dillards.

Yikes, I live near Pembroke Lakes Mall and don't go there unless I have to. Pants on the ground, pants on the ground....

I do like Dillards, and I needed some makeup. I popped in over the weekend. They were BLASTING hiphop music over speakers on the main floor. Made my head hurt.

And upstairs, there were lots of "sales", but mostly looked like junk. And the new, good looking stuff was way overpriced for me.

That said, I would agree with Galleria, on Sunrise near the intercoastal, but my favorite mall is Boca Town Center in Boca Raton. You won't find any hiphop music at Nordstroms!

One more option - Aventura Mall in Aventura. They have Macy's, Bloomingdale's & Nordstrom. It's huge & usually very busy.
