SEVILLE or CORDOBA
Off a cruise for 1 day.
Would like to get recommendations/opinions/suggestions for choosing to go to either SEVILLE or CORDOBA for the day. Which will be more interesting to get a general view of the cities?
thanks !

I'm not clear on how you can visit Cordoba from a cruise ship. Or even Seville for that matter, although it's closer, unless you are on a really small ship going up the river. Are you docking at Cadiz?
I'd probably say Cordoba since it's smaller and Seville would be more important to visit on a longer trip. But if you never plan to go to Spain again, and you are closer to Seville, I'd go there.
Either one is a couple hours drive from a port, I'd think. And Cordoba is probably closest to Malaga. So I don't understand your options. Cordoba would be probably at least 3 hrs from Cadiz.

I assume that this would probably be planned excursion from the cruise right? Normally I would say Seville because we love that city. But with only 1 day I might be tempted by Cordoba to see the Mezquita. Seville is a town I like to hang out in longer maybe because my memories of the great tapas in that city at Eslava
Here is a link on 24 hours in Cordoba:

And here is one about how to spend a day in Seville. Maybe something in one of them will make it the right choice for you. We love both cities and one day won't be enough but at least you will get a taste:

Are you going to be in both ports?
From Cadiz, definitely, Seville.
From Malaga, if you can get tickets, I would go to see the Alhambra in Granada rather than Córdoba.
Granada wasn’t one of your choices, but I would do that if possible because it is amazing, can be seen in a day and is more out of the way on most trips to Spain.
