The new Mandarin Oriental is in a great location on Passeig de Gracia, which has many top-notch restaurants nearby. We enjoyed Citrus, which is nearby, but there are many others. It's easy to get around, so do a little research to find your choice.

Hotel Arts is the celebrity place and has a very good restaurant of its own. But it's set a little apart from the old city, and being near the shore might be chilly that time of year. Ditto for the new W.

Aurorauna,
Could you post your suggestions for lunch and dinner since we will be staying nearby the Mandarin Oriental in May?

Thanks,
