And do you want all 4 people in one room? Is it 4 adults or parents and 2 small children?

How are you going to determine that a hotel is newly renovated? Are you going to discount any hotels that are nice and meet your room and budget requirements just because they're not newly renovated?

I suspect the OP may just mean a hotel that has modern facilities and bathrooms and has been updated in the last few decades, but who knows. Because some people really do only want the latest trendy modern minimalist decor, and that is popular in some cities in Europe (it's hard to find regular decor nowadays in some). The hotels I stay at and like a lot are going to be pricey for a family of 4, of course, but I can really recommend the Hotel Maximilian, great location that is convenient but not right in the tourist center, and it definitely is modern and recently renovated. that's actually one reason I don't want to stay there any more, I like more traditional decor.

I just booked the Maximillian for Feb. Ah Christina, great minds think alike! We got a double room (one bed) for $115 (U.S.) a night. Includes breakfast and all taxes.
