Help needed for hotel options!

Do all hotels in Oia have caldera view? Some of them are much cheaper than others but I have no idea if they have the view…

If you post links of the hotels people here might be able to give you first hand knowledge. There are some fantastic greece resources here that give excellent advice.

Hey joshrandy Not ALL hotels in Oia are on the caldera/have views..those are usually the pricier ones! There are many properties further in the village with no views..if you have a place (or places) in mind..why not post them and hopefully, someone in the know will kick;-) Enjoy!

If you tell us how many people in your group, when you'll be there and what your maximum daily room budget (in euro) will be we can offer some suggestions for hotels with a view.

Well, what Litsa has already said, is, general speaiking true. The more you pay the better view you get. Some of the hotels in Oia are built just on the top of the caldera and they have the view but prices are high. Others are located to the north which means that they have a sea view without the caldera. If a hotel is built to the inland, then it has no view. Perivolas is a small neighborhood to the south of Oia and it is not far away. You can walk to Oia within a short time. Get here some further information http://www.oia-santorini.net/oia-vil...hborhoods.html .

Thank you all for your replies. We will be two people arriving there in early June for 5 days. We have no idea about how much we should spend on hotel but I was thinking that €200-250 per room/ night would be all right.
