Mmmm...it's the end of my work week, and I'm surfing around on the site while sipping Campari with a spritz of soda and a twist of orange peel. The home made chicken soup is bubbling on the stove. Life is good....

I have one bottle left from my fattoria in Tuscany (We lost a couple to transit
but I am seriously thinking of opening it to drink and type here...I do so enjoy a glass of red and a fodor chuckle or two...I have been gearing up to post a report the last couple of days but I fear I was way too busy traveling and eating and drinking to take good notes...

Since we've returned from our 7 weeks in France, our evening "kir" brings back memories.

Feel free to venture over to the US board where we have our usual Friday night "poison" thread going, with a very interesting travel topic this evening.

He: I need my 5-'clock fix.

She: But it's not 5 yet.

He: Well, it's 5 somewhere. Gotta find out who is taking me to task for being snide, snotty, and almost 80.

She: Well, you always have me to tell you that.

He: Thanks, kid. I needed that. Where are the glasses?
