The Unhappy Traveler Part 2

Hey guys, for those of you who enjoyed part 1, here's a link to part 2 of A New Yorker in India. This part is not as funny but...is that a smile on the Unhappy traveler?

This is really great stuff you've got--I don't know what your intentions are with the material, but I seriously hope that this is part of a larger documentary.

This has got festival/PBS doc written all over it--and that comes from someone who works in the industry. Fantastic job, cameragirl!

Can't WAIT to see more.

filmwill, we are doing our best to get some sort of distribution. I am currently cutting it into a feature doc. but...it's slow going as I'm on my own. But hopefully something will come of it. this is me, in case anyone wants to see more:

I must tell you taht I have already turned on several other peole to your videos. I have a friend who did medical relief work in India and has also traveled extensively there, and another friend who taught there, adn I sent the links to them both. I also had my teen son watch them. The video of your boyfriend at the train station in Delhi trying to but the ticket - I have not been able to get it out of my mind all day. It encompasses so much about how travel can be , getting out of the comfort zone.

thanks for all your feedback- it's very inspiring and helps me work. Seriously, it sucks sitting in front of a computer all weekend editing ALONE! i'm glad the videos are going over well, though. The music in the train ride is by Giovanni Almonte, a Dominican artist whom I made a music video for. He donated this song- actually wrote it specifically for the piece. Check out his site at www.giovannialmonte.com and if you feel like send him a message, sure he'd appreciate it as he is currently trying to make it in the music scene in Miami. My ratings have dropped on the LP site, though, so keep rating high to help me stay in the running for the prize that will let me make the next batch of travel videos. Also, any ideas what other good forums I could use to spread the word? thanks!!!!
