Looking for a hotel (like Bucuti)

I'm looking for a hotel similar in style to Bucuti. Bucuti seems to be mostly sold out for the dates I want (does anyone know of travel agents that have Bucuti hotels listed?). I'm looking for a non-highrise but still luxurious. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Are you only looking at Aruba, Or are you open to other destinations?

Are you looking for a 'child-free' hotel?

We stayed at the Bucuti June 2004 and loved it.

The Tamarijn is a nice all inclusive. We have a timeshare next door so don't stay there anymore but we're around it enough to see that they're taking care of it and improving it regularly. It's a lowrise and right on the water also near town. Divi Aruba is just down the way and looks nice too. Hope you stick w/Aruba, it's a good place that got a bad rap this year.

I already answered but I thought that you should know that you can often get an apartment and our place too. Divi Vilage is very nice with studios, 1 and two bedrooms. Parts are 3 story and I think one building is 4 or 5 but nice pools, beach across street. NOT A HOTEL but nice with many facing beach with balconies.

Try contacting Travel Unlimited www.travelunlimited.com as they specialize in Aruba. Not sure if they have Bucuti showing on their website but they definately do book there. Their 800# and email are listed at the website.

I'm confused!

Why wouldn't you just contact the hotel directly?

I did call the hotel and they are sold out of the tara suites. I've heard of travel agents calling and reserving the rooms themselves though and was wondering if I could get into the rooms that way. Either way I decided to stay at the Tamarijn. Thanks for the help.

They only book aruba and are a wholesaler for rooms.
I've gotten some really great deals thru them
Good luck!
