Another Grand Cayman/Georgetown Question

There was a restaurant on the way to Seven Mile Beach from Georgetown calles Cassanovas. I can find no reference to the restaurant. Did it not survive Ivan?

Actually they were closed before Ivan, because the building was being torn down for new port stuff. They have not yet re-opened elsewhere, but rumor has it that it won't be long.

Summer 04, they were in their new location. They used to have a website, now there is nothing. I suspect Ivan got them.

You can make reservations for the BFM show through www.thereef.com.ky.
Don't know about the phone cards.

As of two weeks ago, the new shopping plaza/strip mall, was nearing completion but not yet opened. The outside looked finished, but they were still working on the inside. Contact the Reef Resort for both Barefoot Man reservations and a status on the grocery store. It is right across the street.

Not sure when the new Casanova's will be open, but the same guys run Cafe Med in Galleria Plaza on West Bay Road, so you can get your fix

As noted, check with [email protected] for info on Barefoot Man and THe Reef and East End in general
