There was a restaurant on the way to Seven Mile Beach from Georgetown calles Cassanovas. I can find no reference to the restaurant. Did it not survive Ivan?

Actually they were closed before Ivan, because the building was being torn down for new port stuff. They have not yet re-opened elsewhere, but rumor has it that it won't be long.

Summer 04, they were in their new location. They used to have a website, now there is nothing. I suspect Ivan got them.

I called because I wanted to go back when we're there in March...they said it would be 2 months at the time, so mid-April to May...Boo Hoo for me but great for anyone going after me!

How is the progress on the shopping plaza in the East End??? We will be arriving mid- march and am wondering if it will be open for groceries?? and how can I go about getting a reservation for Barefoot man made on-line? Is it possible? DOES ANYONE KNOW IF YOU CAN PURCHASE CAYMAN PHONE CARDS ON LINE? I would like to have a few ahead of time, this our first trip minus the children *THANKS

As of two weeks ago, the new shopping plaza/strip mall, was nearing completion but not yet opened. The outside looked finished, but they were still working on the inside. Contact the Reef Resort for both Barefoot Man reservations and a status on the grocery store. It is right across the street.

Not sure when the new Casanova's will be open, but the same guys run Cafe Med in Galleria Plaza on West Bay Road, so you can get your fix
