babysitters in Grand Cayman

Has anyone used a babysitting service in Grand Cayman? We are looking for a sitter to come to our condo in a couple weeks.
Thanks

Need to find TOMCayman who posts from time to time. He seems willing to do most anything to entice visitors....

Really, though, he'd know the answer.

Check with your condo - I'm sure they can suggest someone.

We just came back from Grand Cayman and they do have babysitting services. (we never used them, though) Your hotel or condo can give you some numbers, or maybe they'll make arrangements for you ahead of time.

We're staying at a villa, not a condo or hotel. The booking agency isn't on the island. Supposedly there is a caretaker, I can ask this person but it might be a personal referral rather than someone hired through a service with some sort of screeing process. Would the hotels refer me to someone even though I wasn't staying there? Our villa is right near that Westin.

Babysitting agencies are listed in the Grand Cayman Yellow Pages.
also, the larger hotels, such as Weston and Hyatt should have 800 numbers, so maybe you could give them a call and see if they can recommend someone.

Most resorts can arrange something, but often you can't be sure that you can arrange it, it is not that formal in most cases.... hence some resorts don't publicise this.

Suggest you contact the resort / villa booking agency in advance and see.

I knew you'd come through Tom! ;-)

But really, wouldn't you be available to help these folks when they visit?

Well, the other day I had an owner at our resort call me from the US after a diverted flight to help him get a large group of people from the airport to the cruise ship the next day.. which we handled for him that night...but there again, he was one of my customers.

Happy to help people with info on bulletin boards, but for the full on personal service, that is reserved for guests and owners at our resort
