I flew Malaysia Air LA to bangkok first class a few months ago and it was absolutely fabulous. Level of comfort, service and food -- all first rate. I experienced virtually no jet lag as a result.

You lucky thing gloriaalf unfortunately we wont be able to go first class this time as it is an extra holiday so we are trying to keep the cost down as we are going to Tenerife for three weeks over Christmas and new year but we decided we couldnt wait that long for a holiday so we booked this on the spur of the moment. It will certainly be an adventure.Thanks for reassureing me about the food etc.
