Your Favorite Boston Restaurant?

Havent been to Boston in several years, since our son's college grad, going this week Thurs-Sun. Reserved The Elephant Walk for Friday night, staying at Loewes Back Bay/Copley, what is your favorite Boston restaurant, hopefully walking distance. Not interested in North End Italian, nor around Faneuil Hall, steakhouse chains, as we prefer smaller bistros, farm-to-table offerings. Thanks Fodorites.

Very limited exposure to Boston restaurants, but this pizza joint was amazing. A real local hangout, recommended to us by an Uber driver.

Thanks Fodorites for your good advice. Loved Parish Cafe for first a lunch, then another night for dinner, their meatloaf was probably the best I've had anywhere anytime; their sandwiches give a new meaning to the word; Ma Maison was an easy Uber away, where we both had the veal chop smothered in creamy white morels; discovered Friendly Toast for two breakfasts, and next door another at Flour, think these last two have multiple locations. And must mention Precinct in our very own hotel, Loews, which menu seemed to mirror the cuisine of Post 390 just down on next corner. The weather kept us inside that night!
