where it says 'search this forum' on the top of the page - when you are under US Forum, type in "Trip Report Boston" and tons of trip reports come up with itineraries, etc
also then try
Boston Lodging
Boston Museums
Boston Restaurants
there are many threads that will come up and then you can get an idea as someone suggested and return with specific inquiries -
also reading about Boston on Fodors right here -
But still....
hotel location: I would choose Copley/Back Bay area
- and some of my favorite Boston hotels are Copley Fairmont, Eliot, Four Seasons, Nine Zero-
relatives have been pleased with rooms and rates at the Radisson too -
restaurants: how much? There's The Federalist, The Oak Room and Mistral and then there's Legal Seafood and Sonsie and Metropolis, so we need price and tastes - seafood, italian, etc
Museums: My don't miss is the Isabella Steward Gardner, then the MFA, then the new ICA
Shopping: Newbury St, boutiques or chains/malls? or combo? age? - looking for standard, cool, funky? consignment?
Sightseeing?
freedom trail
boston harbor cruise to one of the islands
duck tour
Skywalk Observatory
North End for dinner and stroll
Breakfast and stroll thru Boston Public Garden and Boston Common, up Charles St, over to Charles River
also then try
