Yankee Stadium

We will be in NYC July 28 through Aug. 2. We would like to see a game at Yankee Stadium. Planning to get tickets from Stubhub.com. Can anyone tell us what sections would be best to sit in? Would you look for tickets on any other site??

Most games are selling out or have already sold out, so get whatever tickets you can get. The prices are also going up so if you want to see a game get your tickets ASAP.

You also might try ebay for the time you are here, but get ready for sticker shock.

The Yankee website is www.yankees.com so you might try there as well, but that may redirect you to stubhub.

The very last option would be to try and get tickets the day of the game at the stadium.

Good luck.

The home series while your in NYC is against the Angels and is sold out - you will not get tickets from the box office.

In my experience stubhub.com is the best site.

Where to get seats? It all depends on what you want to pay. My choice is loge (middle) level , sections 454-472 on 3rd base side, or 453 - 471 on 1st base side. This gets you an infield view so you are close enough to a lot of the action. Lower tier seats (main reserved out to sections 18 are also very good, but run 50% more than the loge level.

I avoid upper deck at any cost - lower or loge level anywhere are better than upper deck in my opinion.

Check the site and see if there will be a tour of the stadium while you are there.

We did it a few years ago and it was awesome if you are a baseball fan.

Use the stadium to pinpoint the location of available seats.

Obviously, the lower you are, the better, although I'd prefer a loge ticket in the front rows over a lower ticket in the back.

Enjoy!

You can find all of your posts just by clicking on your ID, including the spot where it appears at the top of the screen. It's a link.

After reading you post, I decided that I wanted to see a game and got a ticket on stubhub for the July 3 game against the Red Sox. I was quite surprised at how many tickets were still available and bought one and it cost a total of $66 with fees and delivery charges.

I can actually walk to the stadium from home, over the 155th St bridge so looking forward to the game.

Hope you got your tickets.

I've had good luck with ebay for Yankee tix. Most of the sellers will have a link that allows you to see the "seat view" for the seats you are bidding on. Stub hub is also very reliable

There are answers on your other thread. Click on your name to find it.

Agree not to wait - tickets are getting scarcer and prices rising by the day.
