Hello Patrick, so I am not the only one evidently that posted replies and found later they were not on the threads I posted on. Thought maybe I was "losing it", LOL. But seriously, how irritating. Fodor's has certainly not been working properly this past week. Hope all is well with you and yours, take good care!

By now you are beginning to get a feel for the nature of this forum. By now you are realizing that today's champions of civility and virtue may be tomorrow's whining and nit-picky hoard.
By now you are probably scratching your head wondering how you could have dreamed that you could create a nice comfortable and cozy place for right-thinking travel buffs who might/maybe purchase a Fodors/Ramdom House product.
For the record, I like Fodors *because* of the dynamic give-and-take-and-take-and-give. This should not be a mutual admiration society. If it becomes one you'll never get the diversity of opinion you seek.

Theoretically, and this is just conjecture, could it be Fodor's is considering elimination of their forums? It has become a white elephant to them. Sort of too much "hassle"-policing because of instigator's, dogmatist's, malcontent's, that seem to take control/invade forums today?
