Fodites? It makes up sound like something from an early Star Trek episode.
Kepten Kirk, Kepten Kirk - I've fount the chef of the Fodites!
Sorry - can;t help with Vegas - have only seen O - which was great - but don;t know if it's even still playing,.

I have a hard time deciding if I liked O or LaReve better, but your three should include one of them.
After time to let them both sink in and for me think about them, I have now decided I liked Ka even better than Mystere. Another great choice.
And assuming you haven't seen it -- Mama Mia for something different from the Cirque shows. I'd pick that over Phantom of the Opera, as for the same amount of money I'd wait to see the full version of Phantom somewhere rather than the one with 45 minutes or so cut out of it.

I've not seen O, but have seen many of the others mentioned and I think Vegas shows of the last decade are the most over priced for the content (in comparison to shows in USA outside of Vegas). I remember Old Vegas and the best show I ever saw was Shirley Maclaine's with walk ons by the Rat Pack minus Frank. I also saw a Tony Orlando and Dawn that lasted 2 hours and which took the entire audience on a conga line through the casino, kitchens, and bathroom. Those were fun.
Most cirque type shows leave me ice cold, I would rather see a silly Mamma Mia anyday.

Depends...are there adults or kids going to the show? If they are all adults, my picks would be:
1. Zumanity (or any Cirque show, but I loved this one...very sensual and funny!)
2. Blue Man Group (a treat for the eyes and ears!)
3. Amazing Jonathan (funny, outrageous...black comedy at it's best!)
If you have kids...I'd say:
1. Lance Burton
2. "O"
3. Mystere
And if you want "adult" entertainment...
1. "Skintight"
2. Crazy Horse too
3. Cheetahs
2.
