Best show in Vegas?

I'm going to be in Vegas for three nights at the end of January. This is for business---so I'll be flying solo. Can anyone suggest a great show to see. I'm thinking about Ka at the MGM Grand (where I'm staying). Worth it? I'm a sophisticated 30-something woman who would like to avoid the cheese-factor as much as possible!

Thanks

"best" means different things to different people. I am not a Cirque fan so I would not rate their shows as "best". I don't much care for Elton John or Celine either so I'd not rate them as best either, whereas someone else would. It's all in the eye of the beholder. If you think you would enjoy KA then go see it. I've had friends who loved it, others who didn't.

If you like "theater" perhaps Phantom of the Opera is a better choice. If you have not seen Mamma Mia then that is also a good choice.

Very hard to recommend something to someone else without knowing that person. That said, while I do not care for Cirque shows I did enjoy "Love" very much and have seen it twice (less circus-y then others, plus the Beatles music is great).

Choose what you think you will enjoy, not what other people enjoy.

I've seen all the Cirque shows as well as Phantom of the Opera. Ka is not the best Cirque show in my opinion.

Mystere, O and LOVE are the best. If you aren't a Beatles fan though you would probably enjoy Mystere or O better.

I'm not a fan of Crique, either, so I wouldn't call them the "best," but I know others really enjoy them.

When I am in Vegas, I like to go see the headliner comedians who onlt stop into town briefly. Jay Leno was my very favorite, and Jerry Seinfeld was also good. I missed Wayne Brady by a day, darn it!

KA, Beatles "Love", Elton John's "Red Piano", and "Phantom" are all excellent. Depends on your taste.

Try it out, especially if you are a 1st timer. Most all of the Cirque shows will impress and amaze. I would say that Mystere is my favrite but I have not seen them all.

You may enjoy Mama Mia, Blue Man Group or the Scintas....there are more as well.

What do you like? Perhaps we can provide some additional ideas.

I am a Cirque fan, but like theater and concerts as well. I think the best show in Vegas right now is Le Reve. At times my mouth just hung open.
