Need Help, LV shows
I booked S&Roy. With the different negative posts I'm wondering if I should cancel. I heard Storm was good, but not in production anymore and O will be dark the days I will be in Vegas, SO Now What? Any suggestions? We are in our thirties and wanted to see a great show for our 2nd anniversery. We are leaving soon so dont have that much time.

A friend of mine went and saw Mystere. It plays at Treasure Island. She really enjoyed that (it's similar to "O"). As for S&Roy I say go see it for yourself!! Everyone has their own opinion. You just might like it. After all, if it was that bad it wouldn't have been playing there for all these years.
FYI, look at lasvegas24hours.com. You can enter the dates you will be in Vegas and it will show you everything that's playing, description, and price.

hi rose, have seen "o", S&R and mystere several times because i love las vegas and do not gamble. i'm sure you'll really enjoy S&R. however, it seems that mystere is the hands-down winner for all age groups...truly unique and memorable. it's also less expensive than "o" which, by the way, has nothing to do with it. have the best time wherever you end up.

If you want a great show to remember your trip, DON"T see S+R, it's really just "another magic show".
Go see Mystere, some of the best entertainment i've seen. If Mystere is dark, go see Blue Man Group at Luxor, but please, SKIP S+R (it's that bad and not worth the money).

We saw Blue Man Group and it was strange but fun.
Mystere on the other hand, was awesome. It was the kind of show I would see again because there was a lot going on and I'm sure I missed some things. Likewise, many of the things they do happen so quickly that only later do you realize it must be incredible hard to work in the show.

Rose,
It's difficult to say whether or not you'll enjoy S&R. Personally, I thought it was one of the worst magic shows I've ever seen, anywhere. That said, however, I've met many people who have raved about it.
If tickets are $75 or more, I would suggest skipping it. If you haven't seen Mystere, that's what i'd recommend.

I would also vote for Blue Man Group at the Luxor - great, fun, different show that we'd see again! Mystere at the Treasure Island is also good - book tickets to either as early as possible, as they sell out fast. Also, for your information - if you'd like a really good, different, fun place to eat/nightclub at, try "The Rum Jungle" at Mandalay Bay. They have great food with a fun atmosphere - turns into a club around 10:30 PM. Have a great time!
