tRANSPORTATION FROM SF AIRPORT
WHATS THE BEST WAY TO GET FROM THE SF AIRPORT TO OUR HOTEL NEAR UNION SQUARE? WE REALLY DO NOT WANT A CAR IN THE CITY, BUT THOUGHT WE WOULD RENT ONE AS WE DRIVE OUT OF TOWN ON TO WINE COUNTRY.

BART = light rail train
Shuttle - any to downtown area
Taxi
There also was an airporter bus, is it still running?
You can go to SFO website, click on ground transportation to see all options
How "near" Union square are you? If it's Nob hill, was it you who posted "Knob hill" question? that area is far from BART and may be up a steep hill.
