One day (and maybe a half) in Sedona

We will be in Sedona for most of one day this weekend, plus the next morning (then on to Jerome for lunch and poking around, then to Prescott for dinner). Is there a particular walk/hike or anything else in particular we should do since we only have one day (and have never been before)? We're staying overnight at Casa Sedona.

I would recommend the hike at Boynton Canyon and also a visit to Montezuma Castle...Very cool cliff dwellings of ancient native american people. Chapel of the HOly Cross is also worth visiting...What a view!

We loved the Pink Jeep tours-they take about two and half to three hours.

I would suggest the Boynton Canyon Vista. It's a short and very scenic detour off the start of the Boynton Canyon trail.

I thought the rest of Boynton Canyon was pretty boring. Not the Vista though.

The other very scenic hikes are Broken Arrow (Pink Jeep has a parallel road here that they use to terrorize customers) and Bell Rock.

The Vista trail is a bit north of the main road in Sedona West and Broken Arrow is a few minutes away on the other side.

Thank you all. I know what we're likely doing, and I know where we're eating lunch in Jerome!
