Metropolitan Avenue is a long avenue. And must take the Airtrain to either Jamaica or Howard Beach and then at least one more train if not three.

If you give the cross streets it will be a lot easier for people to answer.

Or check the mta web site for details - but you need an exact address.

As mentioned in the other answers, you have to be more specific with the address of the hotel.

A check of the internet shows no hotels on Metropolitan Avenue in Brooklyn.

There is a hotel near Metropolitan Av in Brooklyn - The Wythe Hotel at 80 Wythe Av at North 11th St.

The nearest subway station is Bedford Av on the L train (and then you have to walk 6 blocks to North 11th and 1 block to Wythe Av).

Take the AirTrain to the Howard Beach station. There take a Manhattan-bound A subway train to the Broadway Junction station. Go upstairs for a Manhattan-bound L train to Bedford Av.

If this isn't the hotel you want, please give more details and I'll provide you with more specific information.

It would help too, if you told us what time your flight arrived at JFK and whether it's an international flight (in which case you'll have to factor in the time you'll need to clear Immigration & Customs) or a domestic flight 9which means you'll be 'on your way" quicker.
