Ship Harbor Inn- Anacortes? Ever stayed in their jacuzzi suites?
That's all they have left on the day we need to stay here. Pretty expensive too...$160-180!
Would like some persuading that the place is worth such rates. (if anyone has tried this place various times)
Otherwise, we could stay in La Conner at a cute in for half this. BUT...
am concerned as travelling over a holiday weekend, so think it might save us some headaches to stay in Anacortes instead.
Feedback on this place to stay...?
Thanks!

Oops! Meant there's a cute hotel in La Conner w/great rates.
But easy to get side-tracked there in the morning & I'm concerned we have to start very early for the ferries over the 4th weekend.
If anyone has specifically tried one of these higher priced rooms at Ship Harbor....please do share.

I have not stayed in a Jacuzzi suite, but I have stayed in a cottage and a standard room here. The best reason to stay here is to be close to the ferry for an early departure. Are you planning on taking the ferry? If not, than La Conner is a cute town and that might be a better idea.

Yes, we are taking the ferry but not the earliest one. However, we're not morning birds & I'm even concerned about the whole *day* on Sat, July 1st as it's not only a Saturday but also a big, big weekend.
So, had thought maybe staying here, would provide an easier way to 'get in line' even for the 11am ferry. Otherwise, I know we won't get there early enough from La Conner (2 hrs ahead or more) to make the 11am.
I'm okay w/making the next one at 3pm and having more time in La Conner IF,
I could feel certain that getting in line there at noon or 1pm would ensure that.
But w/what I read about the ferries on holiday periods, I'm getting nervous about having to wait through multiple, multiple ferries.
We always travel in May & never have any issues. (only once coming home from Friday Harbor) Probably was Memorial Day time period.
Anyway, have been spoiled thus far & just trying to figure out what's the wisest thing to do.
Thanks for your help.
