Portland - romantic dinner for two

Hello!

Any suggestions for a romantic dinner in Portland? My husband and I celebrate our first wedding day while staying there in July.

Thanks!

No suggestions?
I don't know your taste or the budget. Here are some places I am familiar with in downtown. None of these are with "view." The view and the good food don't seem to go together.

Andina - Peruvian. Tapas is their speciality. See if you can snag a window side booth. Reserve at least two weeks ahead.
Meriwhether's - Northwest. In July, everyone eats outdoors. Slightly off downtown.
Southpark Seafood Grill - Mediterranean.
Bluehour - Nouveau Northwest. Hip place for young people. Very noisy.
Clyde Common - creative dishes. Don't take reservation for less than 6.
Piazza Italia - closest to Italy in Portland. Run by an Italian family. Reserve. Weekend dinner seating is hard to get.
Oba - Nuovo Latino.
Park Kitchen - Northwest.

We were in Portland last August and had a wonderful dinner at Paley's. We were staying downtown and took a cab to this charming small restaurant in a renovated cottage. The food was excellant as was the service.
Also had a nice dinner at the Portland City Grill. On the 30th floor of 'a bank'. The view was fantastic and the food was good. On Sunday evenings they have a big crowd for appetizers and sunset in the bar area. Fun to do.

Happy Anniversary

We had a nice dinner at Pazzo last night, but for a special occasion I would go with Paley's Place, Portland City Grill or Meriwethers. We also loved Gruner when we were in Portland a couple of months ago. ***kim***

Budget is higher, and decor is maybe not 'anniversary' memorable but we recently had steak dinner at the Ringside -- the one not on Burnside, but out Glisan on the East Side. Excellent food.
