Phantom Tickets
My husband and I are planning a trip to New York to see Phantom of the Opera on Broadway on Nov. 22. Can anyone tell me the best way to buy advance tickets? I tried ticketmaster online, but Phantom isn't listed. Also, where are the best seats located in the theater? We are considering staying at the Marriott or Hilton in Times Square. I've also read some positive posts about the Belvedere here, would it be a better choice?
Thanks in advance. You guys never disappoint!

Tickets for Phantom are through Telecharge. Check broadwaybox.com, playbill.com, theatermania.com for current discount codes. For a large cast musical with lots of scenery, we prefer about halfway up center orchestra or center of first few rows of the mezzanine.
You might want to secure a hotel room first.

I think the best seats for Phantom are the front mezzanine center. It gives the best angle when the chandelier drops. Obviously, if you're looking for the best seats, get them now at Telecharge--800-432-7250 or

However, if you want to save money, there will be discount tickets available. The offers for November should be coming out shortly, since the current ones expire today. However, remember that these will not be the prime locations.

My daughter is a Phantom fanatic and has seen the show five times from various sections. She says her center orchestra seats (K107-108) were the absolute best. I once sat in the first row and wished I was up a little higher, and K row is a little higher.

I've seen Phantom from the Orchastra and the Mezzanine and Howard told you correctly - you need to be a little higher to get the effects of the chandelier and also when the Phantom goes through the sewers, I found the effects to be much better from the higher Mezzanine as long as the seats were in the first 3-4 rows of the Mezzanine. Great, great show!!
