Thanks Howard. Are these better/different than those posted on playbill etc.?

They might be the same ones, since Playbill seems to be involved in the promotion. The advantage of this offer is that you can check them all out at the same time on the website.

PS: You can get good seats, too. We just got front row center mezzanine tickets for Twelve Angry Men, which I chose over 11th row orchestra.

In your opinion, are front row orchestra better seats than front row mezzanine? thanks.

Absolutely NOT for most shows. The front row in the orchestra is just too close, especially for a musical. You miss out on the spectacle of it all.
The only time I'd take the front row would be for small, intimate offering, say a one-person show, i.e., Barbara Cook.

For Spamalot, they were offering seats in Row A and Row D orch or Row C center mezzanine. What would you prefer?

If those in Row D are in the center section, or on the aisle in the side sections, I'd take those. That is supposedly the fifth row (unless they have removed row AA for this show).
I was thrilled to get my tickets in the first row of mezzanine center.

Has anyone seen The Awesome 80's Prom? Is it appropriate for teenagers?

I'll assume that those Row D seats are on the side. And, if that's the case, take the mezzanine seats.

Howard, thanks for posting this. Your timing couldn't have been better. We were just booking my first trip to NY in 25 years and my wife's first ever, for our anniversary the end of Feb.

Got The Producers tickets, Row B Mezz on the left aisle for $76 each (w/ fees) for the Friday night. Seems like a pretty good deal to me. Thanks again.

Only downside was an hour later when I found out Turandot was only on at the Met Opera on Friday. Ah, well...

Clifton, if it's any consolation, that performance of Turandot might have already been sold out!

Hi Howard.
In the UK, looking for NYC off/broadway tickets 13-15 Feb. Tried the link but can only find premium seating eg Spamalot >$200 each.
The link takes me to a search page of various homepages for ticket agencies. Is this right? Which one should I be looking for?
(Playbill offering B & the B, but hubby is a big Monty Python fan.)
Any help greatly appreciated.

MRS_AR, have you tried Telecharge:
http://www.telecharge.com
for your Spamalot tickets?

Mrs AR - As Howard says, try telecharge.com. Just to let you know, Feb 14 is opening preview day for Spamalot. It will be in preview until March 17th. It looks like the only tickets available for 14th or 15th are in the back of the balcony. I found the same problem when I was trying to get Spamalot seats for March. However, I called telecharge directly and they had individual seats available in the orchestra section. I personally don't mind sitting separate from the person I am attending with and would rather have a better seat. So that might be an option. As Patrick said earlier, you do better when you can speak to a person directly. I realize you are in the UK but it might be worth the phone call if your husband is a big fan.

Thanks Howard and Paula. Great link, but Spamalot sold out - the 14th is the only night he can make it.

Howard, thanks for the information. I just got good seats for Twelve Angry Men from the "Season" website. The link to purchase tickets didn't work so I had to call the box office. Ate up a bit of my savings if the waiting on hold caused me to go over my minutes!

slw, you're in for a great evening of theater. We saw 12 Angry Men yesterday and we felt it was one of the best things we've seen in a long time. The ensemble acting was superb.

Thanks for the good news about Twelve Howard. I was hoping you'd report in if you saw if before we did. We are going Feb. 20th. Can't wait to get to NYC!
