TKTS Tickets in NYC - premium tickets available?
We will be going to New York City in a couple of weeks and we notice that TKTS is offering tickets to Anything Goes almost every day. Would these include the premium seats also? In that case, would the price be 50% off the premium price instead of the cheaper ticket price?
I noticed that on the discounts through Broadway Box, they don't offer the premium seats.

The theatre releases seats to TKTS that are not sold, and it includes all seats available. I have never had to pay more than 50% lf of the face value, unless otherwise posted. Some shows only discount 25%.
Anything Goes has already got a nice buzz, so enjoy the show.

In short, no, TKTS doesn't sell 50% off premium priced tickets.
However:
Very often on the day of the show, premium seats are changed to regularly priced seats--especially for a show like Anything Goes that is not selling out. Whether or not these (now regularly priced) seats are sent to TKTS is at the discretion of the producers/management (though it's often more likely that these good seats will be sent to TKTS later in the day.) If you're willing to pay $120 or so for formerly premium tickets, check the box office or online the day of or day before the show, and you might get lucky and find premium seats have been released at regular price -- though they won't tell you that the seats were formerly premium seats.

Beth, that's good to know. I think we'll try to see if we get lucky, rather than buying less desirable seats through BroadwayBox. If that doesn't work, since the theater is small, as sf7 suggested, we may see what else TKTS has to offer. Thank you, everyone, for your ideas.

I doubt very much whether premium seats would ever get to TKTS. My gut feeling is that the theater would keep them at the box office in hopes of, at the very worst, selling them at the "regular" full orchestra price rather than discounting them any further.
PS: It is not the case that a theater releases all the unsold tickets to TKTS. Especially in a situation like Anything Goes, which is still at around 90% capacity, they hold back some of the best unsold ones in hopes/expectancy of selling them at full price.

I don't want to burst anyone's bubble, but I don't find the theater that particularly small. Granted, it has just over 1,000 seats (so not nearly as big as the Marquis or some of the giant broadway theaters), but not really small. The sightlines are good because it's a brand-new theater (not a renovated one), and it's well-designed. It does use some of the interior elements of the original, but that was torn down years ago. You can sit in the back, and still get a reasonably good view.
I don't think it's a reasonable expectation that you'll score "good" seats at TKTS. It can certainly happen, but you're more likely to have seats off to the side or up in the rear or the rear mezzanine. Anything Goes doesn't always appear on TKTS (usually not on weekend nights, for example). But you could get lucky. It's a great show either way, but I'd see if I can get decent seats at a discount than take a chance on what might be available on TKTS.
