NewYork Hotel:The Michaelangelo or The Muse

Trying to decide between these two hotels for our first New York stay. Anyone have any comments on the two? Looking for good location and spacious rooms(?). Will be staying 4 nights.

I had to make the same choice about 3 years ago and chose the Michelangelo. My wife and I love the hotel and now only stay there when we are in the city. In fact, I now get the junior suites because they are so spacious. These have to be some of the largest rooms for the money in Midtown. Location is also perfect for Broadway shows and Rockefeller Center. You will not be disappointed with the Michelangelo.

I was scrolling down looking for my post and saw yours...

The Michealangelo is awesome. I stayed there for three wonderful nights...it is fabulous. The location, the staff and this room had a very large bathroom...spa style!
My room was large. This was a huge splurge for me even with my Club discount.

If you belong to a country club they have "deals" with some hotels.

My wife uses the Michelangelo for her companies Board of Directors when they are in NY for meetings. She raves about the hotel
