A CPA in New Zealand? I thought people in New Zealand were CA's as in Scotland and England.
I think she can deduct parking for her gigs but not for her car unless it us registered as a commercial vehicle, and that opens up another nest of snakes
Hey, it's between her and the IRS.
I am beginning to question whether or not this is all a troll anyway. What kind of parent would involve him/herself in the day to day minutiae of their offspring like this?

Yes I'm a troll, only been registered on Fodors since 2006!!!
Ackislander I used the term CPA as that is the term used in the US. I am a CA here in NZ. I have been doing DD's US tax returns for many years without any problems. Thanks for your concern anyway!!!!!!!!!
DD knows I like researching stuff, so asked me to see if I could find any cheaper parking spaces. She has actually been given a tip for an outside parking area not too far away for
$ 150.00. She hasn't checked it out yet so not sure if it includes taxes or not.
