I was there today and surprised at the change over the last several years. It is now, entirely created for tourists. I went to find some discount sports shoes, model kits and books. I couldn't believe my luck when I found my favorite pair of sneakers at a discount, well, they were hard as rocks, too tight for the listed size and had glue on the edges...this was supposed to be a name brand. We went to two toy stores and prices were about the same as the local stores, no discount; but the toys somehow looked like they weren't made as well. I had bought my daughter an identical doll just 2 months ago and it has much better hair and the clothes are better quality. I walked by a shop that had gorgeous gowns; but as I sew, I noticed that the fabrics were the type that would wrinkle easy and the rhinestones were a cheap sort. I used to love the rainforest; but it was so crowded. Maybe I'll check it out again when it is less crowded during hurricane months; but then, I will probably go for the movies, the video game place that is super cool...a little too loud, the rainforest and cheesecake factory and I will continue to shop online for good buys.
