There is a Travelodge in Natick that is on Route 9 directly across the street from the Natick Mall. On Route 30 (Cochituate Road) in Framingham, almost at the corner of Speen Street is a Red Roof Inn. The Red Roof Inn is just a little bit further away from the Courtyard Marriott, but easily walkable. There is also a Hampton Inn across the street from the Natick Mall. The Courtyard Marriott and Hampton Inn are on Speen Street.
I know that the Crown Plaza (also on Route 9) runs a shuttle bus.
The Natick Mall is also very accessible to Shoppers World by walking down the connector road called "Flutie Pass".
If you are flying from/into Logan Airport, you will also be nearby the Logan Express Terminal (which is located on the northeast corner of Shoppers World) for transportation from/to Logan Airport.

There's also the Best Western, also across from Shopper's World (which is next to Natick Mall). It's attached to Chili's Bar and Grill, and is actually in Framingham, but so is Shopper's World. I'd check tripadvisor for their reviews. Also in tripadvisor is the new Residence Inn near Staples Center. Maybe they have a shuttle bus to the mall?

The Hampton Inn is a remodeled Hilton, and the Best Western is a remodeled Howard Johnson's.
The Residence Inn is too far west of the Golden Mile (malls), and there aren't many restaurants in the area. Same goes for the Sheraton Tara, but the Sheraton Tara does have a shuttle bus.
There are plenty of restaurants nearby to all of the other hotels and shopping. For breakfast, there is also a Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, and a bagel shop in the nearby vicinity. The Dunkin Donuts is next door to the Red Roof Inn, and there might be one in the shopping center that abuts the Hampton Inn. The Starbucks is next door to the Travelodge. The bagel shop (it might be Einstein's or another well known name) is at Shoppers World. There is also a large food court in the Natick Mall.
If you like steak, Ken's Steakhouse is on Route 9 next to Shopper's World. The same family makes the Ken's salad dressings that sell in the supermarket.

i'd like to add, though, that the area around the mall is not exactly walking friendly. You're going to be there next month..December, so during prime shopping season, and there are no sidewalks, there may be snow, drivers are insane, and route 9, and Route 30 are a pain to cross. So I would probably try for the hotel on Speen street, like the Hampton. I think that is the easiest one to walk to the Mall from.
Or go with someplace like the Tara, which has a shuttle, and don't try to walk around there at all.
There are a couple nice restaurants in the area. I recommend John Harvards for hte beer and decent pub grub, or Skipjacks or Legals for seafood.

alya - John Harvard's is in the corner of Shopper's World closest to Rt. 30.
ttpan -
If you stay at the Hampton Inn, the on-site restaurant there is Owen O'Leary's, and they have good food too.
There is also an Olive Garden, TGI Fridays, Joe's American Bar & Grill. There is a 16-screen AMC Theatre between Natick Mall and Shopper's World, as well as an IMAX Theater at Jordan's furniture across the street from Shopper's World.

I think part of the attraction to Jordan's is the Barry and Elliot commercials that are so funny - you almost feel like they are going to be the ones selling you the furniture.
I have bought furniture there, but I agree it is not a place I would recommend on a Boston area tour.

alya, yes, I think it is near AC Moores. The strip mall its in is a corner, with a Barnes&Noble and Best Buy on one side (perpendicular to rt 30) and a DSW and, I believe AC Moore on the side parallel to 30. John Harvard's is right in the corner.
I agree, that Jordan's isn't a place where I would take a Boston visitor. But if you were in Framingham...well the one up on route 9 is all done up like Bourbon Street in New Orleans, and they hand out beads, and have a little Mardi Gras show. It really is an entertaining place for furniture shopping.

, that's how we found Jordans before we moved to the US she took us to Jordans for the 'experience', but we can't eat at Kelly's! Yuk! The smell outside is sooooo bad
