Help with Salt Lake City area ski trip
We are thinkin of spending a few days in the SLC area over Christmas break (the only time we can go). We are a family of 4 (a 14 y.o. boy and 16 y.o. girl). We are intermediate skiers, and have only skied in the East.
Any recs on which is the best mountain, and hotel options. Accommodations don't have to be trailside (but that would be nice!), just convenient to mountain and dining.
I have no idea what prices will be during that week in that area, but something around the ballpark of $250-350/nt for the room if possible.
ANy thoughts? Suggestions?

Park City would be my choice. There are many great ski areas near SLC but I think PC has the most to offer in terms of a "town" with restaurants, shops, etc. Some ski areas such as Snowbird are more isolated and don't have as many options for lodging, dining etc.
