Need ski suggestions please

Want to go skiing for a week in the next month or so with husband, 2-year-old and infant. Want somewhere easy to get to from NYC (flying is fine, just don't want a flight and then a long drive), where we can put my 2-year-old on skis for the first time, but where my husband, who's a great skier, can also ski. Would like fun family activities besides skiing. And would like to stay in a large suite or condo. Thanks so much for ideas!

Park City area may work. There's direct flights from NYC to SLC and the drive to Park city frmo the airport is pretty easy. There are many condo type rentals in that area and a few different mountains to choose from.

You might already know this, but two is very young to ski. Most ski schools won't take them until they are four.

We're not planning on ski school, just want my son to see what skis feel like (my husband started at that age). I'll look into Park City... thanks!

Another vote for Park City. It's an easy, nonstop flight from NY and a short drive. You can literally ski the same day, unlike many CO locations. Cute town with some distractions for days you decide not to ski. 3 resorts in the area -- Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort, and the Canyons. Deer Valley and Park City are on a free bus loop. Deer Valley has a great ski school that includes kids, but I tend to agree that 2 is pretty young.

Try Big Mountain in Whitefish, Montana. Airport is 15 miles away with Northwest, Delta and Alaska(Horizon) airline serving Glacier International Airport in Kalispell.
By the way , my kids were on the slopes at 3 years. Two is NOT too young to start.
Happy trails
