Great story meesthere! I'm sure your friend felt good that you took the time to contact them! It happened to me a few years ago, an old boyfriend from college (we dated for a short time in 1989) looked me up out of the blue and e-mailed! What a great surprise, and since he was (and is)a real hottie I was really flattered! He lives in Rome, and we have reconnected as great friends over the past few years! I'm so glad he took the trouble to find me! That's a Rave too! Trish

That's so great, you guys - other stories about finding lost friends! I guess the lesson we should learn is not to let them get lost in the first place, if we can help it.

Rant: DD broke her arm last evening
Rave: Emergency room experience was remarabkly fast. In and out 2 hours including xrays and cast.

Rant: DH does not have monday off.
Rave: We're going to Tahoe anyway for at least and overnight.

You inspired me to look up a freind who I became very close with when I studied abroad in Scotland.
I think of various people now and again, but I have never taken the initiative to find them. I think I will give it a try.
