I will be in D.C. this summer and am looking for hotels with outdoor pools. I am leaning toward the Omni Shoreham. I was there years and years ago. Would this be the best choice for hotels with outdoor pools? Thanks.

Is anything else important to you besides an outdoor pool?

We stayed at the Omni Shoreham about a year ago and found it just delightful.

If you mean DC proper, there aren't hardly any, anyway. It's a nice hotel and good location, so why not. I can't even think of any other hotel with an outdoor pool (except maybe a couple of the Holiday Inns where it's on the roof, and the L'Enfant Plaza). There may be a couple more, but this is a city, it isn't cost effective to have pools taking up valuable real estate.

TheWashington Plaza at Thomas Circle which is 14th and Mass AVE NW has an outdoor pool on the ground...not the roof.

Washington Hilton

all have very nice pools that are surprisingly large and don't feel urban. None of these are "on the roof".
