Big Island Hotel - Keauhou Beach Resort or Marriott

Spending five nites at Kona Village Resort, and looking for another hotel to spend two nights at. Since KVR is pretty pricey, would prefer something moderately priced for our other two nites. Thoughts re either of these properties?

For the Marriott, you could go to their website and pull it up.

Not sure what your price range is, we stayed at the Outrigger Waikoloa Beach Marriott in March for around $200/nite and thought it was a good value since it has it's own crescent sandy beach in front of it (A-Bay). Also suggest checking with hawaiian travel agencies (you can find online) they might be able to get slightly better rates.

I also stayed at the Marriott Outrigger and loved it there. Beautiful bay and grounds. They had hammocks available down on the sand. It was nice.

Here's a link to Keauhou Beach Resort ofr Islandmom http://ohanahotels.com/hotels_detail.aspx?hotel=50
