Beach Hotels in Curacoa

I would like to find a terrific hotel on a beach with a casino for myself and 2 friends (3 women) during Christmas week.

I recommend the Marriott - has a casino very nice right on the beach.

Without a doubt the best hotel on Curacao is the Marriott, in fact on of the better resort in the Caribbean. You can't go wrong. Enjoy.

I am going to tell you the same thing. The Marriott is the best! Prime food, drinks that you will like, friendly staff - and a very special island.

Is the Marriott central to other resorts and restaurants? Would you recommend renting a car or taking taxis when necessary?

It's by the Hilton hotel and Hooks, but not by many resorts and restaurants. The Marriott considered this and they go the extra mile to make sure your vacation experience is more than good or even great. They have a shuttle that runs twice a day into the downtown area, a car rental desk, and taxi's that they will call for you. It makes for an unforgettable vacation. I do recommend that you rent a car for at least a day or two and view the island, go to Fort Nassau for a drink and take in a little history. Ask the staff anything - if they don't have the answer, they'll find it. The service and hospitality they provide means an unbeatable experience - let them show you what a great place Curacao truly is!
