Aspen, CO Lodging: Summer 2005
I plan to attend adult skate camp in Aspen, CO this summer and need information on lodging. The person I'm in contact with at the rink suggested Mountain Chalet or St. Moritz--does anyone have experience with either of these properties? Also, I am interested to learn of other hotels within walking distance to the rink. Thank you in advance!

Go to www.aspensnowmass.com and check out their list of accomadations (somewhere you'll find "stay here") with links to many websites and pictures. I bet both properties you are talking about are listed. There is also a town map on the website showing where accomadations are located.
Aspen is a small town and nearly everything is walking distance. The skating rink is about three blocks from "downtown".

And if you type Aspen or Aspen restaurants in the "Search this forum" box you will get tips on where to eat. I love Range, Rustique, Elevation for a nice dinner and Merlin's Pizza or Mezzaluna for dinner. Hickory House ROCKS for a very hearty breakfast. Probably not the kind you'd want before skating...
