Pacaya Samiria tour or Puerto Maldonando?

Hey all,

As part of a 18-day Peru trip we're planning a ~5 day Jungle tour. We're a family with two kids (9 & 11). We are seriously contemplating between a tour in Pacaya to Puerto Maldonano.
On one hand Pacaya sounds more adventurous, rough, less touristic and harder to get to...PM on the other hand offers easier access and lots of touristic attractions (some are probably good) and way more expensive..

any suggestions?

Thanks!

I'd chose PS but do note that you need to factor in more travel time to get there.

Thanks mlgb!

I'd probably do the same...though we're traveling with kids so I reckon I'll go with the "family friendly" options in Tambopata\Madre de Dios...
