Buenos Aires Hotel in October...

1st time in BA...I have reservations at the Kempinski Park Elegance (Queen Suite) and a King room at the Art Hotel...Which do I choose and why?...The Park is more expensive but the room is a lot bigger and a little more centrally located...ANy suggestions are greatly appreciated...and any other hotel ideas are welcome....

Consider 5 minutes by cab from downtown BA and in Palermo Soho area , boutique hotels. Many nice restaurants, cafes, design shopps in this neighbourhood
in the U$S 100 / 120 range.
Try
Malabia House
BOBO
La Otra Orilla ( B&B) U$S 80
Five

The Hotels you posted are OK although boring for my taste.

The Park Elegance is not really more "centrally" located than the Art Hotel. The two hotels are within a few blocks of each other and located in Barrio Norte/Recoleta, between the cemetary of Recoleta and Ave. Santa Fe. The Art Hotel has more character, but the bathrooms are small.

I agree with Santiagov....try the Bobo in Palermo Viejo.

Hi La Otra Orilla is a nice B&B, however for better location try Argenta Towers Hotel, or Bel Air or America Towers, all great locations, Nice hotels. You can get a wonderful rate through a travel agency. Like through wow argentina, I always get good rates with them. They have great rates for the 4 Seasons down.

Sorry, I missed the earlier question about which room at the Bobo. I was impressed with the minimalist room....cool furniture and a private patio area...nice...

drdawggy,
That's nice to hear about the Bobo -- we'll be staying in the Minimalist room in February before we leave for Ushuaia and Antartica!
