Hello all. Going to Cabo San Lucas in February for 4 or 5 days with my husband and our active 2 year old son. I am looking for a reputable service to provide a babysitter or nanny to care for our son for a couple afternoons and maybe an evening (in addition to some time as a mother's helper so my husband and I can see her/him interacting our son). I plan to ask our hotel when I make our reservations (Riu Palace) but would love to hear about your experience, referrals and/or tips about the process. I am nervous about trusting someone I don't know, but I am open to the possibility for the first time. Thanks in advance!

Sorry I can't help with any referrals, but several years ago, we were in Cabo at Sunset Beach. Beforehand, someone posted on Tripadvisor that they needed a babysitter for their twins. We were going to be there at the same time, so our teen daughter and her friend babysat for them several times. It worked out great. I understand your apprehension and hope your hotel can be of help. You may want to also post this inquiry on trip advisor.

Hi there, I am a 25 year old canadian/F living in Todos Santos. That is about one hour from cabo. I have lots of experience taking care of children ranging from all ages. I dont work through a nanny agency. Most of the time i am not working down here but as i am now living here 4 or 5 months out of the year, working a little might be nice I know busniess owners here for referals as well as many locals and other nannys and babysitters that live in my area up here. I would be available to care for your son 3 or 4 days out of the weeks for you if you wish. We could always just try a day if you liked as well.
