Anyone used Costa Rican Luxury Vacations?

I found this company (Costa Rican Luxury Vacations -- the web. It seems like they offer many good tours and will help you to plan an itinary based on what you want to do, where to stay, etc. How do I find out how reputable they are?

My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon and are very interested in CR, yet we are unsure about planning the whole trip ourselves, and wonder if it is easier to go through a company such as this one. Please help -- those of you who have either used a travel compnay to plan your CR trip and those of you who have made all the arrangements yourself. Thanks!

I made all of the reservations myself. It's easy if you have a resource like this board. You can visit my site at for my trip report--I have links to the hotel web sites and would recomment two of the places I stayed (Xandari in Alajuela and Tulemar Bungalows in Manuel Antonio) for a honeymoon.

My fiance and I are getting married in Costa Rica next May. We booked all of our accomodations through Costa Rican Luxury Vacations. They came highly recommended and so far, everything has worked out very well. If you want to check for yourself, contact them and request references.

Another wonderful Costa Rica Tour Operator is Elegant Adventures.
These people know the country well and have many wonderful hotels they represent as well as tours you can pre book.
I do not work for this company. It is just who I book Costa Rica through.

I am also looking for information on Costa Rican Luxury Vacations. Are their guides English speaking and knowledgeable? Is the company well-run, on-time, etc? We are thinking of booking our honeymoon through this company.

Another company you can try that is excellent, has English speaking guides, makes personal itineraries based on your likes, etc., etc., etc., it International Adventures Unlimited.

Feel free to email me. I've been to Costa Rica 7 times.

I also have good references from Elegant Adventures, and I just booked a honeymoon couple through Way to Go Costa Rica. They are very flexible and very me if you have any questions.
