To Prague

Will be traveling to Prague in October. Since we will be on airline passes, we have the option of flying into different cities (Munich, Frankfurt, Zurich) - wherever United flies. Have been doing MUCH research into fastest/economical way to get to Prague. NOTE: We only have 4-5 days total. Cannot stay long over there but with free passes over the ocean, it's worth whatever we can take in.

Any ideas? We are game to fly, train it but not necessarily drive. Don't want the hassle.

Berlin would be most convenient, don't know if United flies there. Otherwise Munich.

Munich is your best bet. there are several trains at only about 5 hours. Frankfurt and Zurich are much longer trips. Check out bahn.de for a complete schedule.

We flew from the US to Frankfurt and then to Prague on Lufthansa. It was a morning flight and arrived in Prague something like 8:00 or 9:00

I believe United flies into Vienna. If so, that would be your best bet. It is about three and a half hours between Vienna and Prague by either train or bus. Neither are expensive with the bus being downright cheap.
