To and From CDG
What is the most convenient and most economical way between CDG and Paris?
We are staying near the Louvre. I read about the Air France buses and they don't seem to stop in that area.
Also, we will be getting off a long flight, and do not want to take the Metro.

Most convenient as in door-to-door service?
Taxi or private car service.
But those can be expensive.
Shared shuttle services are about $20-30 per person but you may have to wait as others are picked up and dropped off.
Especially if you use such services to take you to the airport, they will tell you they have to pick you up like 3 hours or more before your scheduled flight takeoff.

Last month my family and I (4 total with luggage) walked straight out the CDG airport door to the taxi rank and 30 minutes later were at our apartment in the 5th - cost 48 euro.
So simple, so quick - don't even consider the Metro (too many stairs and changes of trains).

Back in May 2007, I took the shuttle bus from CDG to Gare de Lyon and then a taxi to my apartment in the Marais. I may do the same again this May or take the RER and transfer to the metro since my apartment is a 2-minute walk from Saint Antoine metro stop, depending on how I feel. I may just do the shuttle bus again and taxi ride.

Sorry, I should have said the "Air France shuttle bus, line 4." Just looked at my notes:
...round trip tickets (located just outside of gate 34 at terminal 1, 22 Euros rt) and then a taxi to my studio apartment on #32 rue Vieille du Temple, a fabulous street in the Marais. It was a short taxi ride and under $10....
