I need an advise. Our trip starts on May 28 in Paris and ends on June 7, same place
I have 5 nights reservation in Paris and 5 nights are free. It's three of us: my wife and 17 years old girl.
We thinking to go to France Riviera (expletive!) or Italy Riviera by train and spend 3 nights there. Any good recommendations
for reasonably priced B&B near by the Sea?
Or spend this few days in let say Florence?

I like Paris and Venice paired together on a trip. 10 days would be perfect for these two cities.

What would be better air or train from Paris to Venice?
Any recommendations for a place to stay for family of three at reasonable price?
How mach we should budget for three days including cost of tickets from/back to Paris, museums, exhibits, food?

I want to check train option. Any recommendations what sites to use for prices and schedule? I need to travel between Paris to Venice

I've taken an overnight train between Venice and Paris but we reserved after we were in Europe (sorry don't know a website).

how about 5 days in provence?

TGV to avignon only takes less than 3 hours. the n hire car and take to the countryside - wonderful at that time of year.

or bo further to nice - 5-6 hours on TGV.

Leave Italy for the next trip!

May I most respectfully suggest that you are doing the usual 1st time traveler's mistake of not staying focussed?

You have a total of 10 days.

You leave from Paris in the early AM.

It takes time to go from France to Italy and back.

You want to spend three of your precious days at a beach?

Paris is worth 7 nights all by itself.

You could spend the entire time in Paris with daytrips, eg, Versailles, Chartres, Fontainbleau, Auxerre, Troyes....

You could take a short train ride and overnight in Dijon.

I suggest that you save Italy for another visit.

There is no need for a TA. Just decide what you want to do, and we will help you do it.

There's so much to see,why leave France?
Florence is too far and wastes precious time.
Italy is my favorite country,but France is wonderful as well.
Of all the places to visit in both these countries, the Riviera is no where near the top.
